Liberation
Yesterday was the Anniversarry of VE Day - the end of the 2nd. World War in Europe.
But the "British" Channel Islands were not liberated till the day after - the 9th. of May, 1945
Today is the 75th. Anniversary - so I am putting up a few Occupation drawings by the Jersey Artist Edmund Blampied. From the book "Jersey in Jail"
